I was the VFX Supervisor (2008-2010) and lead for The Electric Company, a children’s television show by Sesame Workshop. The Electric Company launched January 19th 2009 and so far has been a huge success. It has been a great labor of love and I am extremely proud to have worked on and to be a continuing part of.
Before TEC I was employed with Black Watch productions for over 6 years as the staff editor, director and VFX artist. A great company!
Before that I managed and bounced at several high end and successful bars in Chicago.
I have a B.F.A. in Film from Columbia College Chicago with a minor in fiction
class of '97
I am a VFX Supervisor, a Composite Artist, an Editor and a 3D artist. I am proficient with After Effects, Maya, Final Cut Studio, E-on Vue, Mocha, PF Track, Synth-eyes, RealFlow4, Photoshop, Illustrator, and DVD Studio Pro. I am also 6'9" tall and a really nice guy. I am a Maya Generalist but I have also been known to work with Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, & Softimage XSI. As a composite artist I use After Effects but I know Motion and Shake as well and I am currently learning Nuke. I also have been know to dance with little people. I have very a strong background in Production as well as Post-Production. I am highly motivated, creative and driven to succeed. I am always looking to learn, create and expand my skills even more.
